The Last Dodo is a progressive metal project from France. 25 year old guitarist Dorian Pied believes he's a dodo bird.
The Last Dodo’s releases are telling a continuous story about the life of the last dodo bird on Earth, in parallel to the artist’s life events and thoughts.
Releasing its first self-produced EP in April 2017, The Last Dodo has had different influences leading to an evolution of its music over the years, writing-wise and production-wise.
The project was joined by Mathis Denis (bass, saxophone, back vocals) and Baptiste Urben (drums) in 2024 to bring the project on stage.
