Yamila Cafrune, born on November 16, 1965, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a renowned folk singer and the daughter of Argentine singer Jorge Cafrune. Named after Algerian revolutionary Djamila Boupacha, she began her musical journey collaborating with prominent artists such as Horacio Guarany and Argentino Luna. In 2006, she released the live album En Vivo, recorded at Teatro Gregorio de Laferrere in Morón, Buenos Aires, featuring songs like “Tu Huella En Mi” and “La Finadita.”
