Anie Delgado is a Cuban-American artist and songwriter. Born in Miami, FL and growing up in Melbourne, FL Anie enjoyed a colorful childhood with a dichotomy of culture and music. Delgado grew up immersed in her Cuban-heritage by way of dominos, late night dancing, and blaring traditional Cuban music in the Florida Keys. This was contrasted by the sleepy anytown, USA vibes of surf-enamoured Melbourne, FL. Anie got her first guitar in 4th grade and all through her adolescence would write songs documenting her life inspired by songwriters like Jewel, Taylor Swift, and Leann Rimes.
A few weeks after high school, Anie moved to NYC to study at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Anie immersed herself in multi-disciplinary performing in New York City. Inspired by the diversity of New York’s music scene, Delgado joined an experimental rock band and gigged with them until she decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career as an artist. Anie moved to Los Angeles in 2018 and soon later wrote her first single Galaxy. Anie’s music is worldly and wise beyond her years, something that comes with living in three major cities all before the age of 25.
