Eduardo "Edu" Ardanuy (born June 20, 1967, in São Paulo, Brazil) was a Brazilian hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock guitarist. Ardanuy initiated musical training on the acoustic guitar at age 13 before transitioning to the electric guitar at age 16. In 1989, Ardanuy joined the ensemble The Key (formerly A Chave Do Sol) and released the album A New Revolution. Ardanuy subsequently performed with Anjos da Noite, recording a self-titled album for Sony BMG. In 1993, Ardanuy collaborated with Andria and Ivan Busic to form the group Dr. Sin. The ensemble performed at festivals including Hollywood Rock, Monsters of Rock, and Live n' Louder. With Dr. Sin, Ardanuy released albums such as Dr. Sin (1993) and Bravo (2007). In 1998, Guitar Player magazine included Ardanuy in a “Top 10 Greatest Guitar Players” ranking. Ardanuy collaborated with Steve Vai and released the solo album Electric Nightmare in 2008.
