Pelle Carlberg, born October 21, 1969, in Uppsala, Sweden, is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Inspired by bands like Depeche Mode and The Cure, and after seeing Gyllene Tider live, he formed Edson in 1998, which gained indie recognition both locally and internationally. Carlberg released the first solo EP Go to Hell, Miss Rydell (2005), followed by the debut album Everything. Now! (2005). Subsequent albums included In a Nutshell (2007) and The Lilac Time (2008). He collaborated with Club 8 for a tour across Asia in 2008, and recorded Swedish children's songs with his three youngest children under the name Tvillingarna, Truls & Jag. Another notable release is the EP Riverbank (2005).
