Peter Sheppard Skærved

Peter Sheppard Skærved is a British violinist born in 1966. He collaborated with composers including Gloria Coates, Nigel Clarke, David Matthews, Michael Finnissy, and Hans Werner Henze. His discography included the recordings Concertos pour violon number 1 & number 3 (2006) and 30 sonate piccole (volume 1) (2013). He released the albums David Matthews: Music for Solo Violin, Vol. 1 and Musique pour cordes et cor. Sheppard Skærved recorded for labels including Tzadik and Toccata Classics. His work focused on classical and contemporary music through extensive recording and performance projects.
