Rich Shapero, born in 1948 in Los Angeles, California, is an American singer and financier. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in English Literature in 1970. Shapero's music career began with the release of Wild Animus in 2004, accompanied by three CDs featuring musicians such as Jim Keltner and Marc Ribot. His second novel, Too Far, was published in 2010 alongside the album Dawn Remembers, which included contributions from Maria Taylor and Andy LeMaster. Shapero's work often integrates multimedia elements, including visual art and music. Notable collaborations include musicians like Orenda Fink and artists such as Eugene Von Bruenchenhein. His novel The Hope We Seek won the 2015 Digital Book World Award for Best Adult Fiction App.
