Fond of Tigers is a Canadian post-rock instrumental band from Vancouver, formed in 2000 by guitarist Stephen Lyons. The project began as a solo endeavor incorporating tape loops and recorded sounds before evolving into a full band in 2003. Their debut album A Thing to Live With was released in November 2006, followed by Release the Saviours in October 2007. The band's subsequent album, Continent & Western (2010), won a Juno Award for Best Instrumental Album in 2011. Fond of Tigers has performed at various festivals, including the Vancouver Jazz Festival and Sled Island Music Festival. After a hiatus, they reconvened in 2016 to release Uninhabit.
