Ulf Meyer (born 10 October 1955 in Flensburg) is a German jazz guitarist and composer. Early exposure to Scandinavian jazz and folk-influenced melodies significantly shaped his guitar style. Meyer established a reputation through his long-term collaboration with guitarist Christoph Oeding, which included a performance at the 1994 Jazz Baltica festival and the 2006 album Early. His discography includes several recordings of original instrumental compositions, such as Just Because (1994) and Kinnings (2003). Beginning in 1999, he formed a prolific duo with bassist Martin Wind, releasing eleven albums including Feels Like Home (2005), Licorice & Beer (2018), and Time Will Tell (2022). As a film composer, Meyer contributed scores and songs to productions such as Rote Rosen and Die Rote Zora. His work as a studio musician includes contributions to albums by Manfred Maurenbrecher and Hannes Wader.
