Rainbow Chasers, a UK musical group formed in 2004, was founded by Ashley Hutchings following the suspension of his long-running focus with The Albion Band. The original lineup included Mark Hutchinson on guitar, Ruth Angell on violin and guitar, Jo Hamilton on viola and guitar, and Hutchings himself on bass. All members contributed vocals to the band's sound, which blended folk with classical elements. The group released their debut album Some Colours Fly in 2005. Then, it was followed by a DVD of their performance at Huntingdon Hall, Worcester, and a shortened CD version titled A Brilliant Light, released in the same year. In 2006, they released their third album, Fortune Never Sleeps, meant to coincide with their first appearance at Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival.
