Cains & Abels, an American musical group from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2003 while members David Sampson, Joshua Ippel, Jamie McGaw, Jonathan Dawe, and Michelle Vondiziano were attending Calvin College. The band released their first EP, Clean Air, Cloud Science, in 2005 under New Blood Records. Their debut album, Call Me Up, was released on May 19, 2009, via States Rights Records. The band continued with the EP The Price Is Right in January 2011 and their second full-length album, My Life Is Easy, on March 27, 2012, under Whistler Records.
