Equation, a folk rock supergroup from Devon, United Kingdom, formed in 1995 and initially consisted of the Lakeman Brothers, Kathryn Roberts and Kate Rusby, who was later replaced by Cara Dillon. Their 1996 single "He Loves Me" was released on the Blanco y Negro - WEA label. Equation's debut album Hazy Daze followed in 1998, receiving a favorable review from The Times, which compared them to Fairport Convention. Subsequent albums include The Lucky Few (1999), First Name Terms (2002), and Return to Me (2003).
