My professional career began in 2008 when I moved to Cork City, Ireland and became the bass player for an Indie Rock band called Remma. The band was signed for a time to Morrissey’s Attack label and had an EP produced by Noel Hogan of The Cranberries.
In 2011, I moved back home to New Orleans and began a solo career. I released 4 albums under my own name and toured full time from 2012 to 2019, performing in 48 States and 6 Canadian Provinces.
In 2018, I began work on a musical, Static, with my good friend and playwright, Conor Kelly O’Brien. He and I toured this musical together in 2018 and 2019, performing at the Orlando Fringe Festival, Off-Broadway at 59E59, and a full run at 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We mounted a production of the full-length musical on July 31, 2025 at 1735 N. Main Avenue in Scranton, PA.
From 2020 to 2025, I was living back home in New Orleans and I was able to use this time to explore my deep love for mallet percussion. I bought some slate tiles and copper pipe and set about making a lithophone and a four octave set of copper chimes. I used these instruments to compose the foundations for several album of modern classical music.
The first culmination of these writing is an album called “The Art of Listening.” The debut performances of the music occurred on September 26th, 27th, and 28th in Regina Hall at Marywood University as part of the 2025 Scranton Fringe Festival. I’ve recently released a live album of the concert on September 28th.
