Naamix is an artist from Martinique, working mainly in the reggae and dancehall genres. With a passion for music from an early age, he began to make a name for himself in Martinique's secondary schools, performing a series of freestyles inspired by Caribbean artists such as Sizzla and Vybz Kartel, as well as local figures like Homme Paille and X-Man. In 2016, Naamix decided to devote himself fully to his musical career, refining his style over the years. In 2020, he scored his first hit with the track"Pa karé ba lambi a", which racked up hundreds of thousands of views. This was followed by the singles"Caliente" and"Boum boum remix" in duet with Blicassty, the latter surpassing one million views on YouTube. In January 2021, he signed with the ChabineProd label and released the track"Lokal", followed in July 2021 by"Mytho", featuring Dasha. In December 2021, he unveiled"Marvin", an autobiographical track.Then in October 2022, Naamix released his first EP entitled To be continued, with notable collaborations including Staniski, Sael, Warped, Mr Francky, Dasha and Marginal. The first single from the EP,"Ma Jolie", a duet with Marginal, is well received by the public.
