Nazaré Pereira, born December 10, 1940, in Xapuri, Brazil, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. She began her career as a dance instructor before transitioning into music. Her breakthrough came with the release of Amazonia in 1979, which showcased her unique blend of Brazilian and world music influences. Pereira's discography includes notable albums such as Natureza (1980) and Ritmos da Amazonia (1988). She is particularly known for her hit song "Amarelinha" from 1980, which became a popular children's tune. Pereira has recorded a double live album at the Olympia in Paris, À L'olympia, released in 1981.
