Billy Yung born 'Billy Brent Atine' was born in Uganda in the district of Kasese and moved to Kampala at the tender age of 2, he picked up the love for music in the primary school he attended 'Montessori Children's Academy' where he'd mime to his favorite artist's songs and attended the St. Lawrence schools and colleges for his secondary education then International University of East Africa where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer Science. He quickly picked up the Jamaican patois accent from listening to reggae dancehall frequently and became fluent. He collaborated with high school friend Axon who was a producer and started making music to date.
