Maria Olivia Leuenroth Hime, known as Olivia Hime, was born on June 25, 1943, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is a Brazilian singer and lyricist who began her career by composing five songs for her husband Francis Hime's first LP, produced by Dori Caymmi. The couple collaborated on several compositions, including "A Tarde" and Almamúsica. In 2005, their song "Canção Transparente" was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Brazilian Song. Olivia Hime has released numerous albums throughout her career, including Palavra de Guerra Ao Vivo (2008), Palavras de Guerra (2007), and Alma Música (2011). She is also the co-owner and musical manager of the record label Biscoito Fino.
