Lukhanyo Mzanywa, known professionally as MBL Legitimate, is a multi-talented recording artist, producer, songwriter, and composer from Johannesburg, South Africa. His musical journey began at a young age when he started playing the drums around 8 or 9 years old. His remarkable talent quickly made him the youngest drummer at his church, setting the stage for a deep and lasting passion for music.

Motivated by a passion for creating music from the ground up, Lukhanyo spent years perfecting his craft. Over time, he mastered the full spectrum of music production—writing, composing, recording, mixing, and mastering—giving him the freedom to put a distinctive and personal stamp on each of his projects.
