Leonor Marchesi is an Argentinian rock singer who began her musical journey at a young age, singing folklore, tango, and blues. She studied guitar at six and later received classical vocal training at the Conservatorio Nacional de Buenos Aires. In the early 1980s, Marchesi formed the rock band Púrpura, releasing Púrpura in 1983 and Púrpura II in 1984, before moving to Spain to join Santa. After recording Templario with them, she returned to Argentina and released her first solo album, Encrucijada, in 1991. Her second solo effort, Rosas de metal, followed in 1998. Marchesi has also been involved in music therapy studies and teaching singing classes. In 2013, she released the album Reloj de Arena with her band Onliryca.
