Voom:Voom is an Austrian electronic music project founded by Peter Kruder, Christian Prommer and Roland Appel, all of whom had previously worked with Fauna Flash and Combo Kruder & Dorfmeister. The trio began collaborating in autumn 2000, releasing a series of EPs that blended deep house, funk, Detroit techno and electronica. In April 2006 the group issued its debut album Peng Peng on !K7 Records, followed by four EPs that year. The project released singles "Remixes Part 1" (2007) and "Remixes Part 2"(2007), and in October 2009 the compilation album Mixes appeared. Even though the project was put on hold in the following decades, Voom:Voom’s work remains an example of early 2000s Austrian electronic music.
