Demolition Doll Rods was an American three-piece glam/garage rock band from Detroit, Michigan. Formed in 1994, the trio consisted of Dan Kroha on guitar and vocals, Margaret Doll Rod on guitar and lead vocals, and Christine Doll Rod on drums. The band gained national exposure in the mid-1990s by performing at Lollapalooza and as an opening act for artists such as Iggy Pop. Known for their outré stage attire, the Demolition Doll Rods' sound was influenced by Motor City rockers like MC5 and the Stooges. Notable singles include "The Unauthorized Demolition Doll Rods" (1994) and "Big Rock Candy Mountain" (2003). The band released several studio albums, such as Tasty (1997), On (2004), and There Is a Difference (2004). Demolition Doll Rods disbanded on April 4, 2007.
