Faunts, an electronic rock band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, was formed in 2000 by Paul Arnusch and brothers Steven and Tim Batke. Their debut album, High Expectations/Low Results, released in 2005, marked their initial breakthrough. The band's profile rose significantly when "M4, Pt. II" from their EP M4 (2006) was featured in the final credits of BioWare’s 2007 video game Mass Effect. In 2009, Faunts released their second studio album, Feel.Love.Thinking.Of, which included "Das Malefitz", featured in the final credits of Mass Effect 3. The band continued to release music, including the EP Left Here Alone (2012), the album Ostalgia- Volume 1 (2016), and the single "There Will Be Blood" (2009).
