Flower is a Japanese pop girl group formed in 2009 and managed by LDH. The group initially consisted of four members recruited from EXPG: Elina Mizuno, Manami Shigetome, Mio Nakajima, and Shuuka Fujii. They began their career as backup dancers for Exile and appeared in various music videos before transitioning to a full-time vocal and dance unit. In 2011, Flower released their debut single "Still", which charted at number 5 upon its release. The group continued to gain popularity through various singles and EPs, including SAKURA リグレット (2012) and 白雪姫 (2013). In 2014, Flower released their self-titled debut album, followed by notable collaborations such as a song with Little Mix titled "Dreamin' Together". The group's second album, Hanadokei, was released in March 2015. Throughout their career, Flower embarked on several tours and continued to release popular singles like "Blue Sky Blue" (2015) and "Yasashisa de Afureru You ni" (2016). On August 23, 2017, Flower released the single 太陽の哀悼歌 which is notable for its unique title, meaning "Elegy of the Sun." Their final album, F, was released in March 2019. The group officially disbanded later that year.
