The Evpatoria Report is a Swiss post-rock band formed in 2002 in Yverdon-les-Bains. Several members had been playing together since 1999, and their first EP, The Evpatoria Report, was released in 2003. The group gained local recognition with the release of their album Golevka in 2005, which referenced the asteroid Golevka discovered in 1991. They performed at notable festivals such as For Noise Festival and Rock Oz'Arènes, sharing stages with acts like Radiohead and Red Sparowes. The Evpatoria Report's second album, Maar, was released in 2008. Their music, characterized by long compositions incorporating noise elements, drew comparisons to bands like Pink Floyd and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The band announced a return to the studio in 2015.
