Lenola was an American indie rock band formed in New Jersey in 1994. Originally envisioned as a four-track project by lead vocalist Jay Laughlin, the group evolved into a standard band with the addition of guitarist David Grubb and drummer Sean Byrne. Bassist Scott Colan and keyboard player Chris Laughlin joined later, and Lenola released several singles on the self-funded Tappersize label before their debut album The Last 10 Feet of the Suicide Mile in 1996. The band's discography includes notable releases such as The Electric Tickle (EP, 2000), The Swerving Corpse (1997) and Treat Me to Some Life (2001). Their final album, Sharks & Flames, was released in Japan and Europe in 2003. Lenola disbanded in 2003.
