My name is SirDevon, professionally I go by SIRDEVON I think it looks cooler that way. I started taking my music seriously at the age of 14 and began recording at the age of 15. I used a studio made available at the Denver public library and began writing and recording music burned onto CD's. I started out recording rap music and quickly gained attention from my peers and local DJs whom I hosted parties with. By the age of 16, I was given an opportunity to open up at Summer Jam in Seattle. From that experience I saw my passion in performing and connecting with a variety of audiences. I knew I hadn’t quite found my musical voice. In 2019, I released three EP’s worth of songs on SoundCloud titled “At This Point” volumes 1, 2 and 3. Within these EP's I tried a few new things and discovered my RnB flavor. The response to my new style fusing Rap and RnB with a danceable vibe was well received. Things were going well, however due to the pandemic in 2020, this resulted in me having to take some time away from music to focus on family. In 2021, I was back at it, connected with a new team we started putting together volume projects called "Box State Boppers" which took most of 2021 to record. My music is about love and relationships and life as a young man in the Mile High City. I like to write catchy tunes that inspire, motivate and make people want to dance. The best advice I have ever received was from my Big Coach who always tells me “Decide who you are, then walk in it”. I put “Who I am” into my music, my performances and my everyday life.
