Liza Ferschtman, born in 1979 in Hilversum, Netherlands, is a Dutch classical violinist. She began her musical education at age five with Philippe Hirschhorn and later studied under Ivry Gitlis, Igor Oistrach, and Aaron Rosand. Ferschtman's career breakthrough came with her first recording in 2004, featuring chamber music with pianist Bas Verheijden. In 2006, she received the Nederlandse Muziekprijs. Her notable performances include collaborations with orchestras such as the Concertgebouw Orchestra and conductors like Frans Brüggen and Christoph von Dohnányi. She has also directed the Delft Chamber Music Festival since 2007, expanding its repertoire to include vocal and contemporary music. She recorded Beethoven's Violin Concerto & Romances in 2010 with the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, received praise for her "purity of tone" and collaborative spirit.
