Bertta Seppälä, known professionally as Bee, is a Finnish singer born in Finland. She began her music career by participating in The Voice of Finland in 2018, where she was eliminated just before the semifinals. Her debut single "Sun laulu" was released in May 2019 and was dedicated to her mother, who had passed away. In 2021, Bee signed a record deal with Sony Music through Monopoli Music. Her first album Hupsis was released on September 15, 2023, featuring a collection of songs that showcased her unique voice and songwriting skills. Prior to the album's release, she had already garnered attention with several singles, including the number one "Tequilakahvi" in August 2022, " Viimeisiä Sanoja" (number 9 in February 2023), " Kolmatta Linjaa" (number 21 in August 2023), and "Silkkiin Verhoiltuna" with rapper Jambo (number 3 in September 2023). These releases helped establish her presence in the Finnish music scene. In February 2023, she was named YleX's Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Bee's musical style is rooted in pop music, with a focus on personal and relatable themes. In December 2023, Bee has another string of charted singles with "Sä puhuit enkeleistä" (number 6), followed by "Viimeisiä sanoja" (number 47 in February 2024), "Maljapuhe" (number 14 in May 2024), "Pysyvää" (number 16 in August 2024), "Ei me kuolla kuitenkaan" (number 39 in March 2025), "Vihaajat vihaa" (number 36 in June 2025), and "Liukumäki" with Hugo (number 50 in September 2025). Her second album Kippis was released on September 26, 2025, continuing her collaboration with Sony Music. Additionally, Bee has collaborated with other artists, notably appearing as a featured vocalist on Hugo's song "Virheet" in 2024.
