Izak Davel, born Izak on July 1, 1983, in South Africa, is a singer known for his work in Middle of the Road and Pop music. After graduating from the Lady Grey Arts Academy in 2001, he studied dance at Tshwane University of Technology until 2004. Davel's initial steps into the music industry began with the release of his debut album Ken Jy My? in 2008, produced by Stephen Stewart and Werner Beukes. The album featured notable tracks such as "Ken jy my" and "Stuur my 'n email". In 2011, Davel released his second album, Vreesloos. Throughout his career, Davel has also made significant contributions to South African theatre and television, appearing in productions like The Tshwane Dance Season, Joseph and Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as soap operas such as Egoli and Isidingo.
