The L.A. Mass Choir is an American gospel choir from Los Angeles, started by Tony Wilkins and Donald Taylor in the late 1980s. The group was directed by Donald Taylor and released several commercially successful albums, beginning with Live! Give Him the Glory (1988), which peaked at number three on the U.S. Gospel chart. Subsequent releases included "Can't Hold Back" (1989), Hell (1990), Come As You Are (1992), and I Shall Not Be Defeated (1994). The choir was nominated for Stellar Awards and Gospel Music Excellence Awards. Their later albums, such as Unconditional Love (1995) and Back to the Drawing Board (1998), continued their success in urban contemporary gospel music.
