BiSH was a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed in 2015 by manager Junnosuke Watanabe as a successor to the recently disbanded Bis. Originally a four-piece consisting of Aina the End, Cent Chihiro Chicchi, Momoko Gumi Company, and Hug Mii, BiSh burst onto the scene with their debut song "Spark," a captivating anthem that showcased their raw talent and energy. The track was featured on their studio debut, Brand-New Idol Shit, which climbed to Number 20 on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart. In 2016, the group made their major-label debut under Avex Trax with the hardcore punk single "Deadman," a fierce and intense composition that reached Number 5 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Over the following years, BiSH remained at the top of their game despite many challenges and some minor lineup changes, cracking the Top 10 of the Japanese charts multiple times with their albums Killer Bish (2016), The Guerrilla Bish (2017), and Carrots and Sticks (2019). In 2020, the band scored its first Number 1 album of their career with Letters, which topped both the Oricon and Billboard charts in Japan. BiSH would repeat the exact same feat once more in 2021 with Going to Destruction before officially announcing its disbandment later that year. On June 29, 2023, BiSH bid farewell to their fans at a historic final concert held at Tokyo Dome, leaving behind a legacy that defied conventions and inspired a new generation.
