On Broken Wings, an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in 2001. The group released their debut EP, Number One Beautiful, in 2002, securing a contract with Eulogy Recordings. Their first full-length album, Some of Us May Never See the World, followed in 2003. The band's lineup remained consistent throughout their career. They embarked on several tours and released subsequent albums, It’s All a Long Goodbye (2005) and Going Down (2007). On Broken Wings took a hiatus in April 2007 but returned to touring in 2008 with Emmure and After the Burial, followed by performances with Bring Me the Horizon and Parkway Drive in 2011. The band announced work on an album titled Summer Solstice in 2012, though its release has not materialized.
