The Neats are a rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in the late 1970s. Their debut EP, The Monkey’s Head in the Corner of the Room, was released in 1982 and placed in the Village Voice Pazz & Jop critics’ poll for that year. The band released the album Neats in 1983, followed by Crash at Crush in 1987 and Blues End Blue in 1989. Members during the band’s recording period included Eric Martin, Phil Caruso, Jerry Channell, Jay Parham, David Lee, and Terry Hanley.
