Jamie Kristine Seerman (born January 3, 1981), known professionally as Jaymay, is an American singer-songwriter from New York City. After moving to Manhattan in 2003, Seerman performed at open mic nights at the SideWalk Cafe. She released the debut EP Sea Green, See Blue in 2006. In 2007, Seerman released the studio album Autumn Fallin', which included the recording "Sea Green, See Blue" featured in the television series How I Met Your Mother.Seerman composed the score and songs for the film Happythankyoumoreplease in 2010. The recording "Never Be Daunted" from the film was shortlisted for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Seerman collaborated with Kevin Devine and provided vocals for the K'Naan EP More Beautiful Than Silence in 2012. Her discography included the albums Jaymay in Norway (2014), Enlighten Me (2015), and To Tell the Truth (2016).
