Comme une goutte d’eau salvatrice dans un été incandescent. Ce « Fire Drop » d’Ashkabad est un album de contrastes, d’une part musicaux, là ou dub et reggae se frottent aux nombreuses branches de la Bass Music et d’autre part visuels, quand chaque titre s’amuse des absurdités de notre monde en soulignant des oppositions inattendues. L’artwork nous entraine dans cette perspective, une « goutte de feu » colorée appuie cette symbolique contradictoire. Et pourtant, à l’écoute de ces 10 titres électro-dub moderne, les contrastes laissent rapidement place à une forme de symbiose…
