Ebba Grön, a Swedish punk band formed in Stockholm in 1977, consisted of Joakim Thåström on lead vocals and guitar, Gunnar Ljungstedt on drums, and Lennart Eriksson on bass guitar and backing vocals. The group initially performed under the name The Haters before changing to Ebba Grön. Their first single, "Antirock," was released in 1978, marking their debut, after which they were contacted by Mistlur and offered a contract to re-release the single. In 1979, they released their debut album We're Only In It For The Drugs, which featured controversial lyrics reflecting the lives of young people in working-class suburbs. Their second album, Kärlek & Uppror, was released in 1981. The group eventually disbanded in 1983.
