Hej Matematik was a Danish pop band formed in 2005 by Aqua member Søren Rasted and his nephew Nicolaj Rasted. Their first album Vi Burde Ses Noget Mere (2008), was preceded by "Gymnastik" and "Centerpubben" in 2007. The album peaked at number 4 in the Danish album chart, with "Centerpubben" reaching number 22 in the Danish singles chart. In 2009, they won the "Danish Hit Of The Year" award for their single "Walkmand", which went double Platinum and reached number 3 in the Danish singles chart. Their second album, Alt Går Op I 6 (2010), peaked at number 5 on the Danish albums chart. Hej Matematik continued to tour extensively, performing at various festivals across Denmark.
