Café con Leche, a Costa Rican rock band, was formed in 1984 by José Capmany and Enrique Ramírez. The duo initially performed under the name Grupo Folclórico Autóctono Nacional Enajenation Now before changing to Café con Leche due to their contrasting skin tones. The band signed with Indica/CBS and released Rock (1987), featuring notable songs like "Mamá y Papá", "La Historia Salvaje (Gloria)" and "¡Oiga Pito!". In 1987, Capmany and Ramírez parted ways due to personal and artistic differences. Café con Leche disbanded in 1996. Both members passed away in 2001 under tragic circumstances.
