John Ken Nuzzo, born on May 5, 1966 in Tokyo, Japan, is a tenor of Japanese and American-Italian descent. He began his musical journey in middle school theater and later joined the Boy's Chorus at his international high school. After moving to the United States, Nuzzo attended Chapman University and pursued a career in music. In 1997, he won first prize in the Japan Vocal Competition, followed by the Japan round of the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in 1998, which led to performances with the Vienna State Opera. His discography includes Tenorissimo. Throughout his career, Nuzzo has received numerous awards, including the Japan Idemitsu Music Award in 2003.
