Keita Tachibana, known mononymously as KEITA, was born on December 16, 1985, in Japan and is a singer. At age 14, Keita Tachibana became the only male finalist in the 2000 Kyushu-Okinawa Starlight Audition, which marked his breakthrough into the music industry. He was subsequently scouted to join the boy band W-inds alongside Ryuichi Ogata and Ryohei Chiba. In addition to his activities with W-inds, Keita Tachibana launched a solo career in 2006 with the release of his debut single "Michishirube", which served as the first ending theme for the anime Reborn! and debuted at number 3 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. His first solo album, 声, followed shortly after, debuting at number 5 on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart. In 2019, he released three notable singles: "Angel", "I Gotta Feeling" and "Around N Around". Keita Tachibana also ventured into acting, appearing in television dramas such as Ohitorisama and Mattsugu. He reinvented his solo career under the mononymous stage name KEITA in 2012, releasing the single "Slide 'n' Step" on February 20, 2013. He returned in March 25, 2020 with InK.
