Tomoki Hasegawa is a Japanese composer, arranger, guitarist, and keyboardist born on July 19, 1957, in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture. He is primarily recognized for his extensive contributions to anime soundtracks, film scores, and television programs. Hasegawa began his professional career in 1989, providing the arrangement for the video game Gradius III. Throughout the 1990s, he composed music for series such as Pygmalio (1990), Magical Princess Minky Momo (1991), and Wedding Peach (1995). His later work includes the soundtracks for D.N.Angel (2003), Nana (2006), and Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei (2007). In addition to animation, he scored films such as Crêpe (1993) and Suicide Club (2002), and provided music for the NHK program Nameshite Gatten. Hasegawa also served as a long-term sound producer and composer for artist Mayumi Iizuka, contributing to albums like Kata Omoi (1997) and Stories (2008).
