Anders Miolin, born on May 28, 1961, in Botkyrka, Sweden, is a classical guitarist known for performing on the 13-stringed guitar Chiavi-Miolin. At the age of 15, he entered the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and studied with professor Per-Olof Johnson. He graduated with teaching and concert diplomas before continuing his studies at the Music Academy in Malmö, Sweden, where he earned a soloist diploma. Miolin furthered his education at the Music Academy in Basel, Switzerland, under Oscar Ghiglia, obtaining another soloist diploma. Throughout his career, Miolin has recorded seven solo CDs for BIS Records and developed the 13-stringed guitar Chiavi-Miolin with Zürich luthier Ermanno Chiavi. He has also been a professor at the Zürich University of the Arts and has performed concerts and master classes worldwide.
