Rapper Amanda Murray, the daughter of a German mother and an American father, was born in Berlin in 1983. Her journey into the world of music began at the age of eight: As a child, she wrote poems and stories, which she later set to music. She later played the alto saxophone in her school orchestra and gradually taught herself to play the guitar at the age of twelve. in 2002, after meeting DJ Versatile, she became active in the Berlin hip-hop underground under the pseudonym She-Raw and released the album Beauty And The Beats (2005) under her old artist name, as well as numerous singles and a radio show on Kiss FM. in 2015, she began writing and releasing music under her first name Amanda with "Give Me Wings". This is followed by "Ich Kann Nicht Schlafen" (2016), "Meine Frau" (2017) and "Blau" feat. Sido, with which she reaches number 30 in the German charts, as well as her album Karussell, which climbs to number 99 in the German charts. in 2018, Amanda released "Steps", followed by "Alles Was Ich Sehen Will" (2020), "Tag X" (2021) and "Nur Einmal" (2021).
