Deep Cut is a London-based British rock band formed around 2006, featuring Mat Flint (vocals, guitar), Emma Bailey (vocals), Simon Flint (bass), Ian Button (drums), and Pad Bailey (guitar). Mat Flint was previously a member of Revolver and also played bass in Death In Vegas, as did Ian Button on guitar. Deep Cut released their debut single “Commodity” in 2007, followed by “Time To Kill” in 2008. Their debut album My Thoughts Light Fires was released in 2008 on Club AC30 and gained attention in Japan despite limited promotion. The band performed at Glastonbury 2011 on the BBC Introducing Stage. Their second album Disorientation followed in 2011 and received broader press coverage. In 2012, they produced remixes for artists including Ringo Deathstarr and Tim Burgess.
