Kate Rogers, born in 1974 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian singer. Raised in rural Ontario, she studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto for seven years. Her early career as a recording artist included vocals for Grand Central Records artists Rae & Christian and Aim. In 2000, her first song, "Fine", was released on the compilation album Central Heating 2. Rogers' debut album, St. Eustacia, was released in 2004, followed by Seconds, an album of cover versions including songs from The Smiths and Radiohead, in 2005. In October 2008, she released Beauregard under her own independent record label as the Kate Rogers Band. Her fifth solo album, Repeat Repeat, was released in February 2013, marking the first time she was the sole songwriter.
