Manos Achalinotopoulos, born Mános Achalinotopoulos on January 11, 1968, in Athens, Greece, is a Greek clarinetist. He began learning flute and clarinet at the age of nine. Achalinotopoulos' career took off when he participated in the Pan-Mediterranean Festival of Folk Music in Valencia with a Greek group in 1986 and was awarded the best soloist at the Ithaca Festival in 1987. He performed at prestigious festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival (1999 and 2002), the Sphinx Festival in Belgium, WOMAD Festival, Auckland Festival of the Arts, and the Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies in Athens in 2004. His albums include Hyacinth (1998) and Zopirin (2010).
