Vomit Remnants was a death metal band from Tokyo, Japan, formed in October 1997 by Schlagzeuger Keisuke Tsuboi, Gitarrist Takahiro Kuwabara, and Bassist Ryo Nagamizu. Their first demo, "In the Name of Vomit," featuring vocalist Shinjiroh Sawada, was released in December 1997 and gained international attention. In early 1998, they released a second demo, "Brutally Violated." The band's debut album, Supreme Entity, with Toshiyasu Kusayanagi on vocals, was released in May 1999 through Macabre Mementos Records. In 2000, Atsuyuki Katou joined as a vocalist and guitarist, leading to a European tour with Fleshless and Godless Truth, including appearances at Obscene Extreme and Nuclear Storm Fest. Vomit Remnants also contributed the cover "Mass Obliteration" for a Suffocation tribute album. They released the EP Indefensible Vehemence in 2001. Vomit Remnants disbanded in 2005, recognized for their aggressive death metal sound comparable to New York Death Metal bands like Internal Bleeding and Suffocation.
