Saviitar (pronounced 'Sah-vee-tahr') is a rapper, lyricist, songwriter, record producer and down-to-earth guy from Nigeria who takes most of his musical influence from Eminem, some from Migos and a little from late drill artiste Pop Smoke whose goal is to make the world a better place one smile at a time through music.
He started writing his own songs since when he was a child and even did a few acapella recordings on his phone and on that of anyone who let him; though the songs were never complete(d).
He wrote, recorded and released his first song titled "Love You" on Audiomack and SoundCloud on March 25th 2020 and subsequently released a couple more tracks such as Never Loved Me, Dark Thoughts, Talk 'Bout COVID and Chainsaw amongst others; all on Audiomack and SoundCloud. The lyric videos for most of them are currently still available on his YouTube channel - 'Saviitar'.
'Keep It Frosty' is his second commercially released single and he teamed up with fellow Nigerian artiste Arnold TM to create the song on a beat Saviitar made himself. It released on July 23rd 2021 on all platforms.
'Purpose' is his first commercially released single and the beat is the brainchild of producers Sentury Status and KROPSi of Legion Beats. The song was written, performed, produced, mixed and mastered by Saviitar himself and includes tales of his childhood of not fitting in with his peers and also some words of encouragement for whoever may need it.
