Christoph Soldan, born on August 25, 1964, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is a German pianist and conductor. His musical talent became evident by age five, leading to early piano lessons under his father's guidance. Soldan began his formal training with Eliza Hansen and later studied at the Hamburg Music Academy under Christoph Eschenbach. In 1989, he joined Leonard Bernstein on a tour to London and Moscow as a last-minute replacement. Soldan's career included notable performances in venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic in 1998, Gewandhaus Leipzig in 1999, and during the Prague Spring Festival in 2001. His repertoire spanned from Baroque to modern works. In 1994, Soldan founded a chamber music festival in the Hohenloher Land.
