Echo Orbiter, a rock music group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was formed in 1996 by brothers Justin Emerle and Colin Emerle along with drummer Jeremiah Steffen. The band recorded their debut album, A Moment In Life That’s Right, at Miner St. Studios while still in high school. Their track "Spring is Here" gained them spots at the Philadelphia PopFest in 1998 and 1999, and a headlining spot in 2000. Echo Orbiter's second album, Laughing All The While, was released in 2000. In 2001, their tour with the Starlight Mints was cut short due to the September 11 attacks, leading them to discontinue live shows until 2010. During this period, Echo Orbiter recorded prolifically, releasing multiple albums and singles. Their ninth studio album, Euphonicmontage, was released in 2010. The band returned to live performances with a show at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia on September 18, 2010.
